Bio
Dylan Neely is a composer and sound artist whose projects includes film and theater scoring, interactive audiovisual performance, opera, and installation. A Fulbright Fellow, Dylan has participated in residencies/programs through The Watermill Center, SiMN, The New York Youth Symphony, Flux Factory, mpa-B, and highSCORE, with performances at venues including Symphony Space, The Museum of the Moving Image, Issue Project Room, Lincoln Center Film Society, The Stone, MoMA PS1, and La MaMa.
His music has been played by groups including Mills Contemporary Performance Ensemble, Ensemble Móbile, The American Composers' Orchestra, and The Salome Chamber Orchestra. He received a B.A. from Bard College at Simon's Rock and M.F.A. from Mills College. He's based in Brooklyn, NY, where he creates sound for Fan Letters and works in film music.
